Energy & Environment
The United States of America must achieve energy independence through free market solutions.
Private property rights should be respected, and the federal government should not interfere with the development of potential energy sources, including natural gas, hydroelectric power, solar energy, wind generators, and nuclear energy.
Oil reserves that are available to our country for development should be drilled.
It is our responsibility to be prudent, productive, and efficient stewards of God's natural resources. This requires a proper and continuing dynamic balance between development and conservation, between use and preservation.
Realistic efforts to preserve the environment and reduce pollution should be supported. I am unpersuaded of the existence of man-made global warming.
All lands held by the federal government without authorization by the Constitution should be returned to the states and the people.
